Michael here from Raven. So, Wizard World is out, but the con is still happening, and here's how YOU can help!

C4 GREAT BIG GARAGE SALE

When: August 20th, 2011

Where: 187 St. Mary's Rd.

Time: 8am to 2pm

Needed: Drivers / Volunteers who can tote Garage Sale stuff to the location (which is down the street so not that far, but then we're going to drop the leftovers at the Sally Ann at 2pm) E-mail info@cccomiccon.com if you can lend your driving skills in the morning (6am) or afternoon (2pm) and if you can stay and volunteer throughout the day.

Needed: Garage Sale Stuff! Bring your boxes to Raven in July & August.

Needed: Garage Sale Pricers! We'll meet on August 14th to sort through and price everything for the sale. E-mail info@cccomiccon.com if you can make it out for this!

ALSO ON AUGUST 20TH:

Norwood Grove Biz Summer Carnival

Where: Coronation Park on St. Mary's Rd.

What: We'd like to get a group of people in costumes out to this event to pump up both Norwood Grove and Comic Con. You want a news rally folks? Well here it is, we'll be able to let the city know that Comic Con is an important part of Winnipeg. Come dressed up to show your support!

C4 SUPERHERO FUND

As we're only 4 months out to con time we're looking at some hefty fees for guests. If you want us to be able to pull it off, you can also help by donating to the SUPERHERO FUND. This money will be used exclusively for airfare / hotel / appearance fees for our celebrity guests. Any money donated can be made out to "C4 SUPERHERO FUND" and dropped off at Raven, Toys, Comics & Games.

AIRFARE DRIVE

DONATE YOUR AIRMILES! That's right you can transfer your airmiles to our join account and help out the con! The more airmiles we get, the more people we can fly out to the show! Contact info@cccomiccon.com to find out how!
